When faced with sudden unemployment, four friends decide to battle the economic depression by acting out their favorite jokes and posting them online with the hopes that when they go viral, they'll get rich. 

 

FUNNY BONED follows their hilarious exploits of Matt, Sally, Ty, and Ruby as they do whatever it takes to keep their personal dreams alive.

Inspired by our flailing economy I decided to turn the cliché about Life Giving You Lemons on its head by posing the question, "What do you do when your life becomes a joke?"--you make jokes!  That became the premise for our web comedy, FUNNY BONED.  For our 4 main characters, seeing the humor in any situation is the key to survival.  It coincides with my own philosophy:  if you can't change your personal situation, find the humor in it and laugh at it.  Being miserable or feeling worried doesn't change the situation; in fact, it often makes it worse.  Laughter might not (at first) change the situation either, but I find that laughing about the situation puts me in a more hopeful frame of mind, and it is in that hopeful frame of mind where solutions reveal themselves.  Perhaps there is truth in the expression, "Where there is Hope there is Life."  If Laughter is the best medicine, then I prescribe regular injections of FUNNY BONED!
